John Salcido

John was born and raised in Los Angeles California, a melting pot of diversity, culture, art and architecture. He graduated from Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) with a Bachelor of Architecture in 2016. John received a fellowship to continue his studies with the help of Thom Mayne & Eui-Sung Yi’s the Now Institute. He received his Masters of Architecture and Urban Design from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA A+ UD) in 2017. John has worked in various offices such as Morphosis Architects Culver City, to Walt Disney Imagineering Burbank as an Imagineer, and the Getty Foundation.

John brings to Methodology over a decade of design intelligence, historical knowledge, and experience. He has worked on multiple projects of all types of scales small and large ranging from residential interiors to urban planning and design. In addition to his passion for architecture, art, and design he also spends his time mentoring and teaching architecture to the next generation of soon to be architects, designers, and creatives. John currently is an adjunct professor at Mt. San Antonio College.

Wen-Jay Sun (Jason)

Jason was born and raised in Taiwan, graduated from Tunghai University in 1980, and received a Masters in Architectural Design from Washington University St. Louis in 1983. Practicing as an Architect and General Contractor in Los Angeles since 1989, Jason brings over 35 years of experience to Methodology, and has built and designed more than 200 homes in the Southern California area. He also has worked on the Design Review Board for the City of Alhambra, and Monterey Park.

Jason enjoys and is involved with mentoring young professional future architects in the field of entrepreneurship, and starting their own businesses. He spends time giving advice, guidance, and provides assistance to support their business endeavors.
